SensibleTips is a solely trans owned and led organization. As members of the community we serve, we know through lived experience and personal research the issues that impact those who identify as trans or nonbinary. 

"Pure Philanthropy"

SensibleTips engages in what we call "pure philanthropy". This means all resources and events are for the sole benefit of the transgender and nonbinary community of Richmond, VA. All resources (workplace clothing pantry, chest binding items, workshops and social group) provided by SensibleTips are FREE of charge to those who attend access them.

Community Funded

We are a not-for-profit organization and are supported by generous donations from the community, allies and our community partnerships we have established over the course of two years in service. All proceeds go directly into maintaining the resources we offer free of charge. No amount of proceeds are allocated towards individual salary nor payroll.

Driven by Passion vs. Profit

SensibleTips is motivated by the passion to provide free, safe & accessible community resources that affirm, support and inform the transgender community while increasing their overall wellness and inspiring gender euphoria. 

There is ZERO profit generated for organization members from the philanthropy we engage in.

Motivated by Mission

We are motivated by our mission. We are dedicated to creating as many trans specific resources that are needed to continue to support and uplift community members in Richmond, VA. Programming is not directed by any contractual commitments nor to satisfy stipulations related to our funding.
