SensibleTips LLC is a not-for-profit business that engages in "pure philanthropy" to provide free resources to the transgender and nonbinary community of Richmond, VA.

Who is SensibleTips for?

SensibleTips provides resources to anyone who identifies as transgender or non binary. This includes the following gender identities: Agender, Androgynous/Androgyne, Bigender, Binary, Demi Boy, Demi Girl, FTM/F2M, Genderfluid, Genderflux, Gender Nonconforming, Genderqueer, Intersex, MTF/M2F, Neutrosis, Non Binary, Non-Op, Post-Op Transgender/Trans, Transfeminine, Transmasculine, Trans Man, Trans Woman, Transsexual, Third Gender, Two-Spirit.

In what area(s) does SensibleTips provide resources?

SensibleTips operates exclusively in Richmond, VA and provides its resources  to the transgender and nonbinary community of Richmond, VA. Presently there are no plans to expand to provide resources outside of Richmond, VA.

What kind of resources are provided by SensibleTips?

SensibleTips provides resources that address the social supports needed by trans and non binary people to live the best versions of their lives and experience well-being and gender euphoria.  Our resources aim to be:

Affirming: offering resources that help the transgender explore and define their identity. Providing opportunity for gender euphoria through making gender affirming clothing and items available free of charge.

Supporting: providing free, safe and accessible resources and services that provide support and guidance that helps a transgender person navigate society.

Informing: providing community peer education on topics relevant to the transgender community and life experience. Sharing information and resources to increase transgender health and mental wellness. 

What are the resources for the community made available by SensibleTips?

Trans Pop-Up Closet™:  A free clothing pantry providing workplace attire for the community.

Free Binder Clinic™: Information sessions providing a comprehensive overview of chest binding options, proper etiquette and harm reduction practices. In addition, we offer free chest binding items (chest binders, chest binding tape and safe alternatives)

Thriving While Trans Workshop™: Community engagement events designed to engage the trans and non binary community in guided discussions centered on navigating life and thriving as a trans person. 

T.A.G Social Group: A social group for trans and nonbinary adults, ages 18 and up to socialize and attend events in the community.

Are all the community resources free?

YES! All the resources provided by SensibleTips are FREE of charge for community members.
