"Pure Philanthropy"
Philanthropy is defined as "the desire to promote the welfare of others, expressed especially by the generous donation of money to good causes". SensibleTips conducts itself in a way that honors the meaning of the word and avoids actions & associations that would detract from our mission to give to the community without receiving any personal gain.
By doing so, we honor the spirit of philanthropy in it's purest form.
Active Allyship
Allyship is defined as "active support for the rights of a minority or marginalized group without being a member of it".
SensibleTips strongly believes in a form of allyship that highlights action, advocacy and activity. We encourage those who identify themselves as an ally to the transgender and nonbinary community to engage in active allyship, rather than assuming the label with no action.
