WHAT? THE Trans Pop-Up Closet™ (TPUC) IS A FREE MOBILE CLOTHING PANTRY THAT PROVIDES CLOTHING FOR JOB INTERVIEWS AND THE WORKPLACE FOR TRANSGENDER PEOPLE IN THE RICHMOND, VA AREA.
WHEN & WHERE? TPUC ACCEPTS PANTRY REQUESTS ON AN ON-GOING BASIS AND HOSTS POP-UP EVENTS IN THE COMMUNITY AT SCHEDULED TIMES.
WHO? ACCESS FOR ANYONE WHO IDENTIFIES AS TRANSGENDER AND IS IN NEED OF CLOTHING THAT AFFIRMS THEIR IDENTITY AND CAN BE WORN TO JOB INTERVIEWS OR IN THE WORKPLACE.

Mission & Goal
The mission and goal of the Trans Pop-Up Closet™ (TPUC) is to provide accessible and FREE clothing to transgender people who are impacted by various barriers that make it difficult to for them to acquire clothing that affirms their identity. Such obstacles can manifest as:
· transphobia
· transmisogyny
· homophobia
· racism
· limited financial resources
· unsupportive family & friends members
SensibleTips LLC believes that every transgender person has the right to an accessible, safe and stress-free option for finding clothing they feel most comfortable in.
Who is TPUC For?
The Trans Pop-Up Closet is for anyone who identifies on the transgender continuum and is in need of clothing that affirms your identity.
Agender, Androgynous/Androgyne, Bigender, Binary, Demi Boy, Demi Girl, FTM/F2M, Genderfluid, Genderflux, Gender Non-confirming, Genderqueer, Intersex, MTF/M2F, Neutrosis, Nonbinary, Non-op, Pangender, Polygender, Pre-op, Post-op, Transgender/Trans, Transfeminine, Transmasculine, Trans Man, Trans Woman, Transsexual, Third Gender, Two-Spirit
How TPUC Works
Trans Pop-Up Closet™ has entered a new phase of providing gender affirming clothing. TPUC will now ONLY offer workplace attire and shoes .
SensibleTips receives donations of clothing, shoes and accessories.
The community is notified of the event through social media and flyers in the community. Additionally, an individual can request access to the inventory if they are in need of gender affirming clothing before the next pop-up event.
Anyone who identifies on the transgender continuum and is in need of clothing is welcomed to attend the event.
All clothing is provided free of charge to all attendees and those who request items.
